Weekend

We had a fun weekend at the lake with family. Evan loved riding on the boat and fishing off the dock. He even managed to catch a sunny that was pretty decent in size! He was very excited and proud of the fish. He even did a little pose for the picture!

Another exciting thing from the weekend....we have a swingset!!!! We got the swingset from one of my co-workers today and Evan is definitely a fan! He played on it for quite awhile tonight. I have a feeling it will get a lot of use this fall!

And I'm back....it's been awhile

Where has summer gone??? My time off is coming to an end so I'm rushing to get projects done that I had on my summer to do list. One of those things was to start painting! First up was the living room and hallway. The walls and ceiling were a tan, pinkish color....it made the room seem dark and closed in having the ceilings dark, but after some hard work it looks great. Thanks to my mom for helping me!!!!
