More birthday fun!

We had a family birthday party for Evan this weekend. I hope to make a cake every year for Evan's birthday so this year I was set to make a Toy Story cake. I'm happy with how it turned out and it was a hit! Toy Story was definitely the theme this year!!! Evan got many Toy Story toys!! Thanks to everyone that came and for all of the gifts. Evan is 3!!!!! Happy birthday to our little guy today. Evan took some birthday cookies to daycare today and then we took him to Space Aliens for dinner. Of course, he had a blast! After we came home he opened presents. We will have a family birthday gathering this weekend....hopefully the snow, yes snow, doesn't ruin any plans for people coming. Nothing sounds worse than snow right now!

Window crayons

Evan got these window crayons last year for his birthday. Well, I think he did..... ok I'm pretty sure it was because I think it has taken me that long to be brave and let him use them! I really made sure to stress these were "special" crayons and we normally just color on paper....a.k.a. please don't color on my furniture, walls, or floors Evan!!!! Now that I'm over that, Evan had a blast with them! He thought it was pretty neat stuff to be able to color on the window. Here is the artist and his wonderful work.

We are loving this spring weather that is finally here! We ran a few errands this morning and spent the rest of the time outside. Evan loved running around and Sean and I were happy to get our cars cleaned out. Our little guy is getting closer to being 3 and I have a feeling we might be having a few "terrible 3" moments in the future. He had a tough time at Target because he could get a toy and again in Sam's because he couldn't watch a movie. Ahhh, the joys of little boys!!
