Evan and I had a fun weekend with my family while Sean

was out hunting. The kids all had fun playing together!

Getting ready for the holidays

Evan and I put up our Christmas tree this past weekend when Sean was gone hunting. I was planning to wait until after Thanksgiving, but as you can see I was not successful in that attempt. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day with Sean's side of the family. My family will also be in town so we will be able to see them over the weekend too. Evan really likes the lights on the tree. He also can't keep his little fingers off the ornaments so I'm slowly having to move them all up on the tree. Pretty soon the bottom half will have no ornaments. Oh well!

This is a picture I took on my phone a couple weekends ago when we were outside playing so the quality of the picture isn't great. We have been taking advantage of this mild weather!! Hopefully it will last just a little while longer. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

On a better note though, I get to stay home one more day with Evan. Our daycare lady is gone so I'm staying home with him tomorrow. My mom came down last week and helped us out and Sean's mom will also help us out this week. Thank goodness for grandmas!! This is what Evan thinks about me staying home tomorrow....

Weekend Fun

I was having some computer problems the last couple of days so that's why my post is a few days past the weekend. This past Saturday was so beautiful that we spent most of the day outside with Evan. He loves to be outside. He had a great time playing on his slide and playing with Sean's remote control car. I'm hoping we have some more nice weather this coming weekend!

A look back...

I thought it would be fun to look back at how Evan has changed over the last year and past months. I can't believe he is already 18 months going on 19 months. Time flies!! It brought back a lot of memories looking through all of the pictures.

Halloween

Evan was a giraffe this year for Halloween. We went trick or treating on our block. He wasn't too sure about the whole thing at the first house, but after he got the candy he couldn't wait to go to the next house!
