Magic Kingdom

Here are some pictures from the day we spent at Magic Kingdom.  Evan wasn't as excited to go on rides this day.  I think we scarred him a bit at Animal Kingdom with the roller coaster and dinosaur ride!  We still had a fun, LONG day at Magic Kingdom.  If you want to see the electrical parade and fireworks you will need to plan to be at Disney a full day!  It was definitely worth it even if we were all tired!  Evan's favorite ride was It's a Small World and he was pretty excited to be able to meet Buzz Light Year!  It was a magical day! :)

 

 

 

Legoland

Another Florida adventure we had was Legoland.  Evan L.O.V.E.S. legos.  This amusement park was ok...not our favorite.  It was REALLY hot that day.  I hate to complain about that now especially since winter is quickly approaching us!  Plus, we were spoiled after spending 2 days at Disney. Disney is SO efficient with their lines and fast passes.  Legoland not so much.  There would be about 20 people in line and it would take 30 minutes!  We made a quick day out of it.  Evan scored some new minifigure lego people while we were there so I guess it was worth it.  All he wanted was a Robin and a Joker while in Florida.  He talked about that for a month before we went.  Amazingly, I was able to find them!!

Animal Kingdom

 We spent one of our vacation days at Animal Kingdom at Disney World.  This was our favorite of the theme parks we visited.  It had lots of rides and shows that adults and kids enjoyed!  Here is Evan in front of the tree that is in the middle of the park.

 

 

 The park definitely had a wildlife and outdoors theme!

 

We went on a safari ride and got to see all sorts of animals.  Evan loved it!

Visit to the Beach

I finally sorted through all of the pictures we took on our recent trip to Orlando.  There were a lot!  These are from our day spent at Cocoa Beach.  Evan loved the water and sand.  He and Aubrie spent a lot of the day running away from the waves!  I'd like to be back on the beach instead of where the weather is starting to get cold!

Happy Birthday Evan!!

Evan started the day off with a birthday doughnut! It's a gorgeous day so we had some family over and had lunch outside. Evan was thrilled with his lego cake!!

Spring fun

Wow....time flies!! I haven't posted in awhile...I still have snowflakes on my blog. Time to change! We are enjoying the early spring weather. Evan and I went down and visited Sara and the girls over spring break. Evan always loves to go visit Aubrie!! We have also been getting a lot of projects done around the house. We are hoping to list our house in a few weeks so we are working to get it show ready. As much as we love our little house, we are ready for a bit more space. If we could just take our backyard and patio with us.... : )
